Corner Rascal Dual-motor AWD with rally-inspired handling.
As hungry for corners as you, IONIQ 5 N elevates N's signature cornering characteristics with next level direct steering feel and motorsport-inspired AWD cornering capability. Because it’s never just driving, it’s a way to make everyday life more exciting. World Rally Championship-inspired integrated drive axles (IDA) are applied both front and rear and reinforced to endure stronger electric motor torque while reducing unsprung mass together with the 21-inch forged aluminium wheels.

Enhanced body & chassis.
IONIQ 5 N’s corner rascal capabilities begin with enhancements to the body-in-white (BIW) structure with 42 additional welding points and 2.1 metres of additional adhesives for more stiffness. The motor and battery mounting are reinforced while front and rear subframes are enhanced for lateral rigidity.
N Torque Distribution

Hyundai’s most powerful braking system
IONIQ 5 N's performance braking system features 400-mm front discs with four-piston monobloc calipers, 360-mm rear discs and optimized airflow for improved cooling efficiency.

N Brake Regen
The regenerative braking system – where the electric motors slow the car – is typically used to charge the battery, but has been reinterpreted in IONIQ 5 N to enhance braking performance. It offers up to a maximum of 0.6 G decelerative force, an industry leading figure.

More performance or more comfort? You choose. The Electronic Controlled Suspension lets you adjust the stiffness of the suspension set up according to the Drive Mode you select: N/Sport/Normal.

N Grin Boost
Enjoy increased torque and power up to 478 kW / 650 PS when you press the N Grin Boost button. A boost that propels you from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds.
N Launch Control
Start like a professional racecar driver. Launch Control helps to launch the car from standstill as quicky as possible by controlling the engine torque.
N Battery Preconditioning
Optimizes the battery cells to the most power-efficient temperature. Select ‘Drag’ mode for a short burst of full power or ‘Track’ mode for more laps.
N Race
This feature further optimizes the EV’s endurance on the track with a motorsport-derived approach to maximizing resources for the fastest possible times.

IONIQ 5 N’s 800V battery system can add 273 km of range in 15 minutes! It supports charging at up to 350 kW at a DC ultra-fast charging station – charging from 10% to 80% in 18 min.
