I made a switch from driving a petrol car to electric car as I understand that electric cars have instant torque and can provide higher power when required.
The quality and built of the car matters to me - I appreciate that the steering wheel is leather wrapped and there is a premium feel to the trims. The most important factor for me is the spaciousness of the car, there is plenty of leg space for passengers at the rear, and generous boot space where I can fit 1 large luggage and 2 medium luggage at a time.
On efficiency, I mostly commute to and fro work so on average I get about 9.6km/kWh and only recharge my IONIQ Electric every 4 to 5 days. On a single full charge, I can go from 260km to up to 280km. I find myself using a lot of the safety features like Smart Cruise Control and regenerative braking mode.
I love the drivability of my IONIQ Electric, and am most positive on my choice, I will never look back to a petrol car again!”
